Menu Planning _ DS’s 1st Birthday Party!!
January 23, 2009 § 1 Comment
I just recently finalized the menu for DS’s first birthday party and I’m pretty excited about it. We won’t be having too many people, just a few close family members and maybe some friends. We will, however, have an abundance of food. Many of these recipes I’ve borrowed from food blogs I’ve been reading lately:
Appetizers:
Tortilla Chips with Three Kinds of Dip, including:
- Taco Dip
- Corn Dip &
- Spinach and Artichoke Dip
Side Dishes:
Italian Tomato Cups (we’ve made this before, but not with such a cute presentation)
Main Course:
Pulled Pork Sandwiches with Homemade Barbeque Sauce (love this recipe!!) &
Sweet & Sour Meatballs & Kielbasa
Dessert:
#1 Birthday Cake (hopefully well-decorated with the skills I am learning in class) &
So, there it is. Thank goodness for crockpots! ; )
[...] on, but it was fun anyway. We had a small group of family and friends over for a party including dinner, cake and present-opening. [...]
